Creating Opportunity and Equity for Native American Workers

The Warm Springs Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) protects the rights of Native American workers and ensures that construction projects on or near the Warm Springs Reservation provide fair and equitable opportunities for Native people and Native-owned businesses.

Through employment advocacy, skills training, and business certification, TERO supports the growth of Native workforce participation and helps build lasting partnerships between contractors and tribal members.

What We Do

  • Prevent Employment Discrimination
    TERO enforces fair employment practices to ensure Native Americans receive equal opportunity on all applicable construction projects.

  • Create Jobs and Training Opportunities
    We connect tribal members with seasonal and long-term construction work and offer training to build new skills and certifications.

  • Support Native-Owned Businesses
    TERO certifies Native-owned contractors and subcontractors, ensuring they have priority access to work on and around the Warm Springs Reservation.

  • Build Strong Partnerships
    We help create positive, long-term relationships between contractors and Native American workers referred through our office.

To prepare for the upcoming construction season:

  3. Check Current Openings regularly for new job listings.

For Native-Owned Construction Businesses

Native American-owned construction companies working on or near the Warm Springs Reservation can apply for Native Business Certification.
Once certified by the TERO Commission, your business becomes eligible for contracting through the TERO Office.
